2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Redesign
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe will continue to be Hyundai’s standard-bearer in the UK, offering buyers an alternative to the Skoda Kodiaq, Land Rover Discovery Sport and Nissan X-Trail.
As such, it should feature even sharper looks than its processor, while continuing to offer the seven-seat practicality SUV buyers increasingly favour.
There are a few areas, however, where we expect the next-generation Santa Fe to herald significant improvements, and the first of these is design.
The current Santa Fe is a handsome, sleek SUV, but it was launched back in 2013. By the time 2019 rolls around, the disjunction between the Santa Fe and newer Hyundai models – like the latest i30, for example – is likely to be even more sharply felt.
To that end, witness the sleek, narrow LED headlights peeping out beneath this camouflaged car’s disguise. The radiator grille also appears more in keeping with the i30’s ‘cascading’ grille – a new Hyundai hallmark – than the front of the current Santa Fe.
